Of the three works I made for the “Present 2025” exhibition (which had a “points of light” theme) this one is least directly related to actual “light”. However, it’s still illuminated by a string of small LED christmas lights.
I’ve not made a lot of works attributed to Joseph Cornell, but his influence on my work can be seen in almost every piece. So for this one I decided to go for a straight up dedication: this one’s for you Joseph. You’re one of the people that enriched my imagination.
