Assemblage of wood, glass, sand, lead, mirror, wrist watch and acrylics.
The Demon Core was an experimental sphere of plutonium, used in research in the US in the late 40s (read more about it on Wikipedia). I made this assemblage to pay my respects to the 200.000 in Hiroshima and Nagasaki that were sacrificed to what amounts to a horrible combination of science experiment and warlike hubris.
